My gorgeous new cameo brooch. It’s a present from my parents for my nineteenth birthday.  I love the tiny pearls!

I strung up my pearls with a cameo brooch cause I’m cute. I got the brooch online for only about eight dollars, it’s very old and the clasp is a bit dodgy but it’s so gorgeous.

This is my beautiful new coat :) My mum had it made for me and gave it to me as an early birthday present. It’s so soft and warm and the skirt twirls nicely C: I feel like Dita von Teese, which is obviously the best feeling in the world.

And yes, I am wearing Canterbury socks~ they’re called “aftersocks” and they were made by the Christchurch Women’s Refuge after the second big earthquake. They’re also wonderfully warm for when an earthquake throws out your power and you have no heating. They’re horrendously ugly but extraordinarily warm and I love them.

P.S. that dark shape in the left bottom corner? That would be Dibley, she has a talent for walking into photos.

This just arrived, it’s a ladies magazine from July 1920! I’m about to scan some of the amazing adverts and articles from it.

I may or may not have a bit of a thing for collecting royal family crap. It’s not because I have a particular fascination with them as people, it’s more of a kitschy thing. Kind of like the spoons, although I only have one Queen Elizabeth spoon… Must fix this.

Anyway, my favourite is the Queen Elizabeth mug with the two handles - guess what I’ll be drinking my coffee out of from now on! ;3
